A popular recipe is "The FIngers", a German Schwarzbier. This brew is named after my Grandfather and features him on the label!

This Schwarzbier has a very roasted flavorful taste, leaving the drinker with a coffee or roasted chocolate mouth feel. It has hardly any bitterness on the toungue, which is necessary for the malt profile to come forward. The low ABV of 5.3 % and taste allows this lager to be enjoyable after dinner! The lager yeast, very similar to the Miabock, created a very easy to drink black beer.

The ABV of this German Schwarzbier is 5.3%, with an IBU bitterness rating of 31.

Initial brewing in November 2013, with second brewing March 2014. Ratings and comment on Untappd The Fingers
